Things I love about Summer...

Linen pants, salt water, sea gulls, waves, lighthouses, quiet mornings, sunrises. These are some of the best parts about summer to me. The pants from Celoe show exactly what I mean by loving summer linen. The way it flows and allows you to be cool on even the hottest summer day. Can you tell I'm from a climate that even has to think about the fact that putting pants on in summer can cause extreme discomfort!

I love Celoe too, not just for summer, but for the aesthetic value it brings to Second Life. Yes, the clothes beautiful to look at and wear, but the shop itself is one of the most beautiful places to shop. I could sit for hours in the gorgeous, plush chairs and chaise lounges--living the posh life in SL! Actually the entire sim is gorgeous, however, Celoe is my favorite part!

Another thing I love in SL is the sim I used as a backdrop. It's called Plages des Graniers, and it's beautiful.

Dark Knight, Bright Days

Well, I have just watched a full trailer for the new Dark Knight movie, and I can honestly say, I hope I'm there opening night.

While working on my next blog post, a friend popped by to visit, and oddly enough, wore his "Joker" mask. I felt it only appropriate to share with you, the interruption in picture form. Mind you, the interruption was quite neat, as it was striking how the shadows played across his face (click for full view)!

Summer Heat and a new release

As I write this, I can hear the hot summer rain beginning to fall. That's why this new lace shirt is so easy for me to tell you all about! It's too hot and humid to be burdened down by bulky shirts right now. Holiday Workout Routine!

No. 3: Holiday Blahs

Everywhere you look, every notice you open, and every hunt going on has to do with the upcoming Holiday season. I love the holidays! I look forward to seeing all the new and cheerful items, but I just can't bring myself to write about the same cute reindeer shirts, candy cane pajamas, and moosletoe decor we keep seeing over and over! I'm glad there are others out there that do this, that way you and I won't miss all the amazing holiday offers! Thank you fellow bloggers.

Ok, now that that's over...let's get into a touchy subject- Fashion OBSESSION!

A lot of women have a slight obsession with fashion, let's just say there's nothing wrong with this. In SL it's obviously more affordable and sometimes even more fun and rewarding to shop than at the mall or outlets in our real cities. Plus, I cannot buy some of the things I buy in second life without getting funny stares from the sales clerk. Therefore, some of my more daring outfits aren't worn on my real body, they are worn and adorned on my avie's body! This particular outfit brings me much joy, because not only is it beautiful in its simplicity, but it is also uber sexy and fun to look at! *wink*

I Let My Friends Dress Me...

This could be a series, as far as I'm concerned. I get bored with my clothes in SL sometimes, and moreover, bored with seeing the same things on all the blogs. For instance, the Vintage Fair, it's a great place, no doubt. But...I think I've reached my saturation point on seeing what can be done with the various outfits there. This is not to say that what has been posted is not of quality and beautiful work. Far from it, actually. I love reading about the different ways people are styling what they are finding at the Vintage Fair. That being said, you will not find me creating my own, and posting them here. Instead, I decided to open my vault of clothing, invite a friend over, and have her dress me!

I started with a bra (*Fishy Strawberry* Damasco Corset and Soignee Nude) and let her proceed from there. We ended up creating something of a farmer's daughter mixed with city girl. Here's what she became--

Sometimes a Girl has to Clean Up!

Well, today I didn't let my friends dress me. However, I did use some inspiration from a friend and a few good finds at The Dressing Room to create my look. The challenge was to create a look that would show my style. I quickly thought to myself, "You see my style everyday, how do you not know it?" However, I took on this challenge and sought a look that I'm currently in love with in my first life--The long cardigan. I don't think I can pull off the short jumpsuit/pants for my job, but I do love the sense of fashion it adds to a look! I hope you enjoy!
